    • I've been using Mailplane for the full trial period now. I like it a lot, but I have to agree. Not worth $25. I would probably pay $10-15. I'll be sorry to see it go.....

    • It seems that Omnigroup is keeping up with bugs, and also trying to keep the technology at the latest (Webkit, etc.), but they even added a new , albeit weird feature with 5.9.2--Gopher support! I...

    • I fully agree. I even forced myself to try Safari 4 for some time, but I couldn't stand the barely readable tabs. OmniWebs sidebar is a major advantage, because it scales much better when it...

  • This is an article I was going to write but don't have to! Great work. I don't have time to play games at all any more - I borrowed one for a weekend a few weeks ago and played for precisely fifteen minutes before getting called away to do some server maintenence...

WOW is well out of range - and has a business model comparable to that gym membership I'll soon be handing back because I don't have time to go!
  • The gym membership comparison is a very good one. I like that. I have to wonder how many of the 11 million subscribers sign in every month. I would doubt many. I'd wager, like you, most are paying for the membership out of habit or to preserve their characters if they decide to get back into it later. After all, their own numbers only count those who are paying the bills on time.

I think you should write your article. I'd love to read it. Your experience with the game sounds pretty much how I envision mine going. Fifteen minutes to maybe an hour of play before something else comes up.

At least Newgrounds doesn't charge me a monthly fee...
  • You're not alone. Lots of folks feel the same way for these and other reasons. Proof:

  • Glad to know I'm not alone in this one.

Great link BTW. Some very funny (and scary) videos.
